Film ini mengisahkan mengenai Julie Powell (Adams), seorang wanita yang merasa bosan akan kehidupannya sebagai seorang sekretaris, yang memutuskan untuk mencoba untuk memasak seluruh resep masakan yang ada di buku resep karya Julia Child (Streep), Mastering the Art of French Cooking selama satu tahun penuh. Dalam jangka waktu setahun itu, Julie menuliskan seluruh pengalamannya dalam sebuah blog, yang menghasilkan banyak orang yang mengikuti perkembangannya melalui internet. Funny People sendiri bercerita mengenai dua orang stand-up comedian. Harry Potter's sixth year at Hogwarts turns out to be quite the exciting year. First off is the arrival of a new teacher at Hogwarts, Horace Slughorn, who is a bit more useful to Harry than he realizes. Amidst this, Harry is starting private lessons with Professor Dumbledore, during which Harry learns the dark secrets of Voldemort's past, hoping that they could use these secrets to find a way to defeat him.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is an upcoming science fiction 3-D film scheduled for release in 2009. It is the sequel to the 2007 film Transformers, which was the first live action Transformers film. Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg return respectively as director and executive producer, while Shia LaBeouf reprises the role of Sam Witwicky, the human caught in the war between the heroic Autobots and evil Decepticons. Shooting began in May 2008 for a June 26, 2009 release date.

Bay desired to give the sequel a bigger budget for a global scale and better characterization for a larger cast of robots. The main hurdle in getting the film produced was overcoming the 2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike, as well as possible strikes by the Directors Guild of America and the Screen Actors Guild. Bay met his shooting date with the help of previsualization and a scriptment by his writers Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman, and series newcomer Ehren Kruger.

Tidak mau kehilangan segala hasil kerjanya selama ini, Tate pun memutar otak dan ide untuk menikahi sang asisten, Andrew Paxton (Reynolds), untuk mendapatkan kewarganegaraan pun bergulir.

Denzel Washington and Tony Scott have conquered submarines (Crimson Tide) and ferryboats (Déjà Vu), so it was just a matter of time before the actor-director duo turned their attention to subway trains. Their remake of the 1974 classic pits Washington as an NYC transit worker against a hostage-taking John Travolta.

Washington hadn't seen the original, but that didn't stop him from suggesting his character get demoted from cop to dispatch operator. ''He's not a guy familiar with weapons,'' explains Washington. ''So when he's put in the middle of this hostage situation, he's in over his head.''

Namun begitu, film ini akan diisi suarakan oleh dua aktor gaek Edward Asner (78 tahun) dan Christopher Plummer (78 tahun). Well... Night at the Museum mungkin bukanlah sebuah film favorit semua orang. Namun film drama komedi keluarga ini berhasil meraih pendapatan tidak kurang dari US$ 300 juta untuk peredaran domestik di Amerika Serikat saja. Jadi, walaupun seri pertamanya banyak dikritik para kritikus film, 20th Century Fox tentu saja tidak berkeberatan melanjutkan seri kedua film ini, dengan harapan dapat memperoleh keuntungan yang sama, atau lebih, seperti seri pertama film ini.

Seri kedua yang memiliki sub-judul Battle of the Smithsonian ini masih bercerita mengenai Larry (Stiller) yang bekerja sebagai seorang penjaga museum, yang mana ketika malam hari tiba, seluruh koleksi museum tersebut berubah menjadi hidup. Kali ini, museum tempat Larry bekerja ditutup untuk keperluan renovasi. Seisi museum pun diungsikan ke Smithsonian Institute, dimana akan ditemukan lebih banyak karakter-karakter menarik di dalamnya.

Angels & Demons sendiri menceritakan mengenai Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) yang ditugaskan oleh pihak CERN, sebuah Organisasi Penelitian Nuklir Eropa, untuk menyelidiki sebuah pembunuhan, yang nantinya akan membuka tabir mengenai pembunuhan empat kardinal dan penghancuran gereja St. Peter's Basilica.

Novel-nya sendiri masih mengandung beberapa topik sensitif mengenai masalah keagamaan. Hal yang tentunya juga akan terdapat di filmnya. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is an upcoming science fiction 3-D film scheduled for release in 2009. It is the sequel to the 2007 film Transformers, which was the first live action Transformers film. Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg return respectively as director and executive producer, while Shia LaBeouf reprises the role of Sam Witwicky, the human caught in the war between the heroic Autobots and evil Decepticons. Shooting began in May 2008 for a June 26, 2009 release date.

Bay desired to give the sequel a bigger budget for a global scale and better characterization for a larger cast of robots. The main hurdle in getting the film produced was overcoming the 2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike, as well as possible strikes by the Directors Guild of America and the Screen Actors Guild. Bay met his shooting date with the help of previsualization and a scriptment by his writers Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman, and series newcomer Ehren Kruger.
